This CD features twelve instrumental renditions of ten traditional and two contemporary hymns containing strong Celtic and Appalachian influences produced by Jeff Johnson. Whether or not you recognize the melodies, and whether or not you know the words often attributed to these tunes, there is something that deeply resonates in the soul when listening to A Quiet Knowing. Johnson is joined by internationally acclaimed Irish musicians Brian Dunning on flute and John Fiztpatrick on violin.
